I recently purchased a very nice 1972 350SL from an estate. It starts and drives quite nicely. It is in very nice shape overall. The odometer shows 94589 miles. Silver with blue interior. The soft top has a few tears and will need tlc or replacement. There are a couple of cracks in the dash and one arm is missing/broken on the passenger headrest. There is one hail dimple on the hard top. The previous owner replaced the original stereo. On the plus side all the original books are there including a 1972 Mercedes model lineup advertising booklet. Nada values a 20 footer at $22800 U.S. and a mint condition car at $32800 U.S. This in my estimation is a 5 to 8 footer so I would say value about $28000 U.S. I am asking $20000 U.S. to allow for the repairs to bring it back to mint condition. I had thought I would do this myself but have come to the realization that with a young family I don't have the time or wherewithal at this point to give this car what it deserves. I can be contacted via email at [email protected] for more pics and information.
