The steering is very tight with no play. If I can't figure something else out that will be the next step.

1971 250c creaking noise
Well,
It's running great and a ton of fun to drive. New problem however,
When you turn the steering wheel it makes an awful creaking noise.
I have replaced the subframe mounts and the tortion bar bushings.
I have greased the joints and I still have the problem.
Has anyone had this problem and would you please share any possible solutions.

Thanks everyone for your advise. Replaced upper & Lover control arm bushings, idler arm bushing and engine mounts. Not only has the noise dissapeared but I think that I have the nicest riding 250c on the planet. Thanks again!!
