Heres the info:<br>-----<br>Very rare 4 speed manual column shifter just rebuilt. Rebuilt Cylinder head, new brakes, recent MB Tex Interior. Very little rust. Faster than a 4.5 and more fun to drive! Working Heat and AC. Drive daily or collect. Original German delivery car built to US Spec. I have all the original shipping papers, bill of sale, and more. Hi Frank,<br>I read recently on the 108 listserver that the service manual is available through Mercedes for, I think, $35.<br>email me if you need a phone number and/or part number.<p>Mark

starting matter, Well I had a starting problem in my '70 280se benz when it was hot, it would not start for about 1/2 an hour this was caused by the wax return pillet that stops fuel returning to the tank and holds fuel vapour in the lines for restarting.
