Will the grille from a W108 (68 280 SE) fit on a 71 3.5 Coupe?

I have very nice clean grille that a friend is inquiring about.

Sorry but the low grill(111026, 111027) is exclusive to that model. They are somewhat rare due to the exclusivity of the model but I see them on Ebay every so often.
