Up for sale again due to a scammer clicking the buy-it-now. I have relisted the car and only offered it for sale to bidders in the USA and with a PayPal account (unless they contact me first and I agree). Hopefully this will help me weed out the scammers. The bidding starts at $1,000 or buy-it-now for $1,800 and drive it home.
Well, the 200D is sold. Maybe. The winning bidder is local but is a lady who says that her family needs a second car and that she doesn't know anything about cars, especially older Mercedes. She thought the price was good. I haven't heard back from her yet (she stated twice that she might be retracting her bid. I guess I will see). The auction ended 9 hours ago and I sent an email asking what her payment plan was. Why do I have a feeling I won't be able to get rid of this car...
Well, if the bidders don't want the car then maybe I will have the radiator repaired and then drive it to Utah again to visit my family for Christmas. I think it can handle another trip and it would be better on fuel than my 300SD.
