Here in Dubai there is a 1967 250 that looks in very clean condition. Manual gearbox with non-functioning AC. No pictures yet, but I did not see any rust at all. Straight panels, average interior. Asking approximately 9K. Are these of any worth?

Are you sure it's not a 250S?

the latter 250 was a mid-line model.

Weren’t the /8 w114/w115 cars called /8 because they were introduced in 1968? I have a 1967 250se w108. So I’m guessing this is a 1967 250s or 250se.

Prices are a little higher outside north America but generally it better be in really good shape for 9k. You can get a very nice 280SE for that much if you look. The A/C and interior parts are all available but it will cost you at least 2-3 thousand plus another several thousand for the subframe mounts and a few suspension components it'll probably need done soon. You'll then have a very nice car with fresh parts but I wouldn't be surprised if you're then on the road for 15k plus parts it'll need in the medium to long term.

It apparently has about 30,000 miles on it, will investigate further. I did not spend any time looking at it, didn't even raise the hood.

It's probably rolled over at least once. At 30,000 miles the interior should be in better than average condition. At any rate on an old car the overall condition is far more important than low mileage.
