I have a 1992 190E 2.3 (8v), and it runs fine. It starts very well in cold, but if I don't leave the engine running for at least 15-30secs, the card stalls the first time I press the clutch (it doesn't keep the idle).
What can be the cause?

Thanks!

i think u mean let go of the clutch. on a manual u need to keep atleast idle engine speed by blending the gas pedal in while releasing the clutch. normal manual transmission operation

Wow! Thanks! And do I have to turn the key to start the car? What is that round wheel in front on my seat for? ;-)

Now seriously. I know how to drive a car. Having that in mind, I was talking about the first seconds after startup cold: the car tends to stall when _pressing_ the clutch pedal. It should go to idle but it stalls if you don't push the throotle.

Best regards.

There is an electrial switch to cut the cruse control if you depress the pedal.

Don't think the cruse amp. or system could effect the cold running but stranger things have happened.

P/S not sure why that wheel is ( on ) your seat mine is collumed to the dash.[:)]
