Hi all,
I'm new to this forum so I don't know if a similar project has been posted before. Couldn't find any using the search.

Since I do no longer have a cassette radio I wanted to convert my Fischer C-Box cassette holder into a middle console organizer.

Here's the disassembled cassette holder:

The cassette holders can be inserted into the plastic frame and are held in place by clips on the bottom of the console.
My idea was to create 2 plastic boxes in the exact dimensions as the cassette holders:

Here's what they look like in comparison with the cassette holders:

And here's what it looks like in my car:

I hope this might help some of you update their middle console without destroying any original parts.
The bigger compartment might even be a good place for a cup holder.

Cool. We do not have those in US. I have never seen one.
