yes, they will bolt right on. I see you have a 2.6. Try to get calipers from another 2.6, if i remember correctly, the 2.3 calipers are a bit smaller.... if you are changing calipers, why dont you just go for a w124 upgrade? It's a direct bolt on, you just have to do some trimming or removal of the dust shield, easy as pie!

If you are going to go with a w124 upgrade make sure to get calipers from a 400e or a later model 300ce these are 4 pot calipers and will give you the best stopping power. i found mine at the local junk yard for dirt cheap.

You can also use E320 brakes (same part number as the 400E and 300CE calipers) And if you are going to go for an upgrade, don't buy just regular 300E calipers, they are the same as the 2.6. Go with the 300CE or E320 and up. They will all work for you (E320 and 400E are going to be the easier ones to find in a salvage yard, 300CE's a fairly rare, not super rare, but rare enough)

close but not quite. the 400e and the e320 3420 brakes are very clsoe to the same but not. one uses a bigger rotor and they do have different part numbers. you can actualy tell they are not the same by looking at them if you have both in your hands.

As I understood the E420 and 400E calipers are the same as the E320. Here are all the part numbers http://www.2phast.com/124_brakes.htm According to this they are the same size and part numbers. Also according to this, the 300CE has the same part number as the regular 300E and 190E 2.3-16, so those would not be an upgrade for the 2.6 like we had thought. But either way, 320, 420 or 400, they are all bigger than stock 2.6 setups and direct bolt on.

Edit: if you look at the chart, it looks like they changed the size slightly through the production for all those cars. So if you were to look at Pre May '92 E320 caliper next to a post May '93 400E (or even a 320E) the later one is a little bigger. Good to know. Looks like we were both right on this one.

I agree, for future reference, at least valid for North America versions, the W124 front callipers and discs are bolt in and fit well W201 as the 190E 16V (Cosworth) uses the same front brakes from factory.

I had a 190E with the 400E front brakes and upgraded 17in AMG wheels, excellent braking power and bolt in...however, just keep in mind that the stock 15in will no longer fit in, as these are larger calipers.
