Can someone direct me to a "how to access and repair or replace the fan speed switch"? Also any tips on removing the console to get to these items. Thanks

the console is a bit invasive..
#1 block your tires
#2 turn key "on" and move shifter to "2" position
#3 remove ashtray
#4 remove 2 ea phillips screws from underneath ashtray holding center console to lower console
#5 remove center vents
#6 remove 2 ea phillips screws holding dash to center console
#7 gently pull bottom of center console and remove gently

then you get to the fan speed switch...
#1 pull off rubber knob
#2 pull off wood laminate (be careful not to bend or break)
#3 remove 2 phillips screws in the front of the switch
#4 remove power connector on back of switch

install in reverse and use 2 sided tape to re-adhere your wood trim

My switch just broke last week and is stuck on the lowest speed. My new switch is ordered (from Autohaus Az) and will be here next Thursday. Let the fun begin!

I'm just glad it happened in nice weather, not freezing weather in Feburary!
