Greetings!! I am new to this, wanting to buy a 190E 2.6 but have been advised to find a good local mechanic before I buy. So, does anyone know of a good mechanic for this car in the Boulder, Longmont, Loveland Colorado area?

Of course if you know of a nice 190E 2.6 5-speed preferable for sale let me know.

Thanks,
John

2.6 5 speeds are rarer than 16Vs. You may have to look nationwide to find the right car. These cars are pretty staight forward to work on and most major and minor jobs are documented here and other forums. Try and DIY if you have the space. PM Kynyption, he's in CO and may have a lead on a mechanic, if he still checks this forum that is.

There is a 5 speed 300E in SF Bay area on CL right now...and claims very low miles. Might be worth a trip.
