Does anyone know if 19" wheels with 285/35/zr19 tires on the front and 285/30/zr19 tires on the back will fit a 2000 slk230 without any modifications

Going to trigger the ESP light since to rolling circumference is more on the front than the rear (front wheels turn slower, so ESP computer thinks rear wheels are spinning) . Basic rule of thumb: if the width is the same (285), then use same profile (35). If the width is more (say 295), then use lower profile, e.g. 30.

nothing in the "285" range will fit in the SLK regardless of anything without some serious wide-body work.

I have tried an slk230 with 18" wheel, the starting was terrible. Why 19" ?

I got 265 on the rear with 19". Fenders were rolled to install them by the previous owner.
