The short answer is 10.14 oz for a new/empty system.
The long answer is found in the service manual section 83-520 checking oil level. I can't seem to load the file but it is in the service manual stickies up top of this forum page.
edit:looks like the file loaded at the bottom of this reply
I believe I put 6 oz in the compressor (that should max out what you can put in there), 2 oz in the receiver/dry, and 2 oz into the line in front of the condenser.
Once you have the compressor mounted and the system buttoned up but before you put the belt on, you are supposed to spin the compressor by hand 10 times to move some of the oil out of the compressor so you don't blow any seals at 1st start up.
Now would be a good time to throw some dye in the system. Napa sells it for 7 bucks and you just pour it in with the oil. It would help find a leak in case a seal doesn't hold somewhere in the system.
