Hello, I have bid on a nice set of Michelins on ebay, but the stock tire size on my 300E is 195/65/15 NOT 185/65/15. Will the lack of the 10mm in width matter, will the tires still fit the rims? Thanks!

You won't have a problem with them fitting on the rims but, I think they will look a little small in width when there on your car!
195/65/15 is the best size for original MB equipment!

Dear Derek,

I don't know exactly what is the reason placing a smaller tyre to the car. Usually what happens is either the standard size or larger size to give better look and more grip (surface area). Obviously you will be experincing both but vice versa, grip will be less and look will not be nice.

Anyway, they will fit however you will practice 2% reduction in actual speed than the speedometer. (i.e. : While speedometer read 60 MIles, you will be actually going 58.8 Miles. Somthing that is not major and would help with radars. I recomend installing the standard size or a 205-60-15.

I second that! Go w/ the 205's and the look will be great as well as the handling being better too.
