When changing wheels from the standard 16" to 18" wheels, did you up or lowered the recommended tyre pressure and if so by how much?

the sweet spot seems to be 36-38psi on a cold tyre.

i run mine 36psi all round and seems to be the best mix of feel, tyre wear and comfort... try 38psi and if it seems too rough drop it to 36psi.

also note tyre pressure gauges at petrol stations can be wayyy off sometimes - even the digital ones! sometimes up to 2psi off! buy yourself a good handheld digital gauge and use that to confirm right pressure! you will get a lot more out of your tyres if the pressure is kept right

Hi Subby

Many thanks. I left the tyre pressure to what MB recommend for 16" wheels and "fook me" I got scared last weekend if speeding on country lanes :D
will do what you recommend many thanks.
