I was looking to get the 18" SL wheels on a slk 350.

The sizes are, for the front 18 x 8.5" ET 35 and the rears are 18 x 9.5" ET 40.

The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport in 255/40ZR 18 for the front , and 285/35ZR 18 for the rear.

Now what kind of a ride would I get on a regular SLK 350? Is it better to get these wheels with the sport suspensions?

HeHeHe And forget about tires 255/40/18 and 285/35/18 this is impossible to fit it on SLK.

Also the 35mm offset on the front with an 8 1/2" rim will not fit without a spacer. 8 1/2" width will require a 3-5mm spacer.

YES, there is no way to put them on...
and I taking about tires not wheels! If you want this
wheels you can use spacers to fit 18" wheels from SL.
Carlsson offer wheels 8,5" front, 10" rear for SLK but they use specers and tires 235/40 front, 265/35 rear -
this size is maximum if you want to drive car not just watching [:D]

Also I think wheels on picture is 8,5 for front and rear...
