Thinking of downgrading from my 20's to 18's amg two piece from r129 8.5J front and 10j rear.
Anybody got a pic maybe how will the car sit on those.Would help to make my decision.
Thanx

I have had a look in the Mercedes rims catalogue, and the SL 18", is specified as;
8.5Jx18 ET 25 245/40 R18
10Jx18 ET 25 275/35 R18

I cannot really see the looks of the Fu3lFr3nzy rims, but at least from looks, the ones the z168 are showing, looks right.

But, since its ET44 on the original AMG rims for W140, (the ones that BENZBOSS are having) and only ET25 for the SL ones, the rims could be located to far out.
Perhaps thats why the text in z168 images, say that the tire dimensions is not as wide as original for those rims?

Going by the catalog would never get the right look for my car.SL rims look great,we got similar version one piece from S55 but they R 9.5J at rear and not as cool looking as two piece ones.As long we wont try the rims on the car we would never know.
Once went to the shop looking for set of 20's.They wanted to force me towards 8.5J all around with et35 cause catalogue said so-it would look just wrong at the rear.I use a 25mm spacers for my 16" winter set for the rear wheels to don't get lost under arches.
Still in the end of the day is matter of taste :)
