whats up people<br> <br> i jsut received my new wheels yesterday. they are 17 inch velox vx8's. they are 17x7.5 and came with falken ziex 512 205/40/17 tires. are these tires ok on these wheels?<br> <br> let me know<br> <br> they jstu seem to haev no curb protection and dont look wide enough. but isn't this the recomended size?<br> <br>

I use to have that size, it's ok but not too good because the height (40) is too small. Once I hit a pothole and bend the rim. For 7.5 rim you can go up to 225/45 or even 235/45. Try to stay away from 40 series. It also make the fender gap look bigger :(

Man, you can fit way bigger tires under a benz.<br> <br> for a 190 i would go with 225/45/17, if you roll the fenders you could do 235/45/17, 300Es can hold 235/45/17 no problem,but if you lower it, you should roll the fenders. <br> <br> I dont know where you can get 18 foot wheels (18'), but 18 inch (18') wheels, You should try maybe tirerack.com and look for the correct offset, or look on ebay. You can get a wheel catalogue from the mercedes dealer.<br> <br> Austin<br> Austin
