Has anyone looked at or purchased the 5 spoke AMG rims that come standard with the sport suspension package? I like these rims but do not care for the rougher ride and lower suspension (fear of scratching the front end) of the sport package. Mercedes wants ~$800 per rim and I am pretty sure I can find these somewhere cheaper.

I have already swapped out my 17" 5 spokes with some 18" Monoblock VI's. The 5 spokes have 60 miles on them, just enough to get home and into the garage. I would not pay $3200 for a set of those wheels. Much better looking wheels/tires can be had for much less. However, if you would like to purchase my set, I can sell them for $3,199. []

Thanks for the offer Nuke. How funny because I just spent $3199 on some sweet plastic hubcaps off a 81 Tercel. Damn I hope they fit my SLK!
