I am selling my 17" AMG rims and tires with 17,000 miles on them - (tires have approx. 75% tread left) perfect condition on rims - no road rash or any damage whatsoever - can anybody tell me what price I should expect to get for these?

I personally don't think they're worth more than about $800, but I've sets in worse condition go for over $1100+ on eBay.

How many miles were on them?

Yeah, that's why I asked about the miles.

On my SLK230, the factory Continental SportContacts were at the wear bars at 12K miles. On my SLK32 AMG, the factory Michelin Pilot Sports were at the wear bars at 16K miles. Even if you drove 100% highway miles, there's no way you've got 75% tread remaining at 17K. Even 25% would be unlikely.

Yo Brian,

What did you think of the Conti's compared to the Michelins? Just curious. Wet/dry/grip/road noise...?

thanks
