I don't know how serious this seller is. He accepted my offer on 1/15/10 and now he has dropped of the face of the earth. Sent 3 PM's but no reply since the offer acceptance. I am sure glad I did not send payment
I hope nothing happened to him.

You just didn't know it, and I didn't want to make a public thing of it.
Although my post before yours was finally edited to say "nevermind, just look'n", we had already made a deal. Same problem though, loss of contact...
After your post saying "PM sent", I PM'd him again and protested that he had already made a deal, what gives.
He did finally respond saying that I diffenently had first shot, but he was going to consult with his father concerning what a "Good Deal" was.
I fully expected a reply saying either ready to exchange, or I need to get this much more.
No reply at all, then I see your post where he accepted an offer from you!
OK, I understand getting a higher offer, but I still expected a reply saying that he was looking for the Best offer, and that he was at $???....
I would have responded with a new number, or I would have said thanks for the offer to bid higher, but no.
Either way, communication would have worked for me.
The only reason I'm posting this at all is to give you some more info, I don't intend to re-offer over you as I don't trust this seller now.
He did express to me his desire to sell the other set of wheels and keep these mono's, it's less money in his pocket this way, and he would have to put the tires back on the other set, (he said he only has one set of tires, and he needs them).
So what is the truth is anybody's guess, I think he may have not thought out his needs very well before he posted.
So, I went on eBay and CL and with a little leg work came up with 6 alternatives to this deal.... I just need to choose the best one for me..
