1400miles left on FSS....Service A is coming up. Need advice please...

Hi All:

I'm usually in the ML forum of this great website. My father's 2002 S-Class has approximately 10,400 miles on it. The FSS is reading 1,400 miles to go. I will most likely bring it in for Service A when the FSS hits just below 999 miles.

I was wondering if anyone recently did their Service A for their S-Class. May I kindly ask what I should expect from Service A (besides the synthetic oil change) and how much I should expect to pay? I believe we may need to change the brake pads as it slightly squeaks when braking.

Greatly appreciate any input. Thanks in advance!

The service manual that comes with the owners manual has all the details on what Service A...

The service manual that comes with the owners manual has all the details on what Service A is about. Under the warranty, all parts are replaced without charge, you pay only for the labor.
