Oil leak is most probably the rear gearbox seals. Not a hard job and the parts to replace can be sourced from you local barring/seal shop. It can also be the seal at the other end of the thrust tube down near the pinion, when travelling down steep descents the the oil runs down the inside of the thrust tube and pools in then rubber boot. I change the seals at both ends if I'm doing the job. Good luck with it.

UNIMOGs should not leak, but it may be worth driving it some before changing (check your fluid levels first). If the truck has been sitting the seals may loosen up with a little driving and seal back up.

YMMV.

Thanks for the replies, I will watch the oil level and drive it a bit more and see if it heals itself. The PO of my 1300, let it sit indoors for about 3 years, with just the occasional start-up. Thank you.
