Vredestein Snowtrac 195/65R15 - set of 4 never fitted

Hi all,

I have a set of 4 Vredestein Snowtrac winter tires for sale. Bought them last year for my 124 but decided against driving the car in the winter. They've never been used. Asking $190. Collection only (unless you'd like to send a courier) from N New Jersey (Bergen County).

I will be assisting a good friend in selling a pristine 1986 W124 300E soon and am looking for advice to find the ideal consumer ( it may be here or BaT?). It is 100% original, garage kept and one could probably count the times it sat outside overnight. The paint has no blemishes, paintwork, dents or dings, and is a metallic blue (I am embarrassed to say I do not have the paint code or VIN with me) with light tan MB-Tex interior. It has the factory airbag, Becker AM/FM Cassette, functioning power antenna, and as of this writing there are no issues at all to speak of with the vehicle, with the exception of perhaps a leaked down air conditioning system. It has four Michelins in great condition, no windshield damage or chips, original Daimler-Benz windshield sticker and is considered being placed up for sale by its original owner from 1986. The odometer is correct, and is currently reading around 45,000 miles. The windows had tint applied to them several years ago to protect the interior, and the wood is in excellent shape, as well as the dash pad, and the instrument cluster needles are as bright orange as they were in 1986. The only thing that is not factory is the muffler due to condensation causing corrosion on the original and it was exchanged at the dealer (the vehicle has only been serviced at the dealer in which it was purchased new). It has always been a North Carolina car, and has never seen salt or snow, and is one of the nicest ones you will find. I have to credit this car getting me interested in the brand back in the early 1990s as I was requested to drive it (and honestly had little interest at the time) but after about 10-20 minutes of driving it I quickly realized it was the best driving car I had ever driven.

AFAIK it has all service records, likely the original Window Sticker, and all other paperwork. I will hopefully have more information very soon when the weather is nicer and the owners are in a better position to place the vehicle on the market. If it were not for this one vehicle it is highly likely I would have never been introduced to the brand and learned to have appreciate them. If I was in the position to purchase it, I would without question, but it just isn't in the cards right now in this stage of my life. I am not sure what options were available in 1986, but equipment I know it has are two position memory seats for both driver and passenger, headlamp wipers with washers, no heated seats I do know, but is likely one of the finest examples you will find IMO.

I will update this post as I get more information about the car. I have owned many MB because of this particular one but sadly have ever had the opportunity to own a W124, and this would be the one I would want to own! (Maybe a miracle will happen in the coming weeks and I can purchase it and maintain it like it deserves!)

Hi Werner. If your part 13. is available (and indeed is correct for my '88 560 SEL) I want to ask: is there a metal piece on the coaxial cable running between the EZL and the sensor? I have a pal in Maryland willing to come over and pick up the CPS #0021531328. Are we pretty sure it is correct for my car? Gratefully, DDay, Maine
