I was wondering if anyone had a fix or a similar issue and what they did. I have taken the car to the dealer they can't figure it out. They even reset the COMAND system.

When receiving an incoming call, I answer the phone on the steering wheel or the keypad... There is then a brief delay in which it connect then the screen shows the mic is muted... Then it will let me speak. I would say its about 10 seconds, but the person on the other end is able to talk and thinks the phone is not working.

Any Thoughts?

I'll venture a guess... perhaps maybe the phone is not maintaining it's bluetooth connection between calls and you are experiencing delays in connecting because it's trying to sync. I noticed a similar situation when I am on a call outside of my car, then get in it, crank it up and then there's a delay as my car and phone pair. You didn't mention which phone you had but it takes two to tango and maybe it's your phone that's not dancing.

Sorry for the delay haven't been on in a while.... I am using an iPhone 5.... It drives me nuts... thinking of switching back to my 4S. I am in the car too much. The dealer finally determined it was a problem with the iPhone 5 software... Maybe an update will come out soon?

make your blue tooth code the same as your phone try that.....
Its not about the phone not pairing... the phone works there is just a delay in answering due to the fact it is an iPhone 5.... some software glitch!
