the colour codes. i`m trying to know what green is my car painted. by the way, it`s a very light solid green. thanks, appreciate

108 colour codes

thanks pagodino, but my colour isn`:confused:t there. i`m in south africa, so i think my car was built in australia? pls correct me if i`m wrong. it has euro lights. thanks

hi all. i actually discovered that my car was made in germany, and looks like the colour is willow green? pls help... thanks

Go to PaintScratch Touch Up Paint, Spray Cans, Paint Pen and enter 1971 MB (all models) and this is what you'll get (w/ color samples in the actual site, not copied here) then look for the following codes on the radiator tag:

thanks mbeige. it`s a very helpful site, but seems that my colour isn`t there. the car has never been repainted, but there is no plate in the radiator, just other plate with some numbers and the plate with series, weight, etc. this is really weird!!!!

The plate is not on the radiator, it is on the part of the car just ahead of the radiator. Take a picture of the numbers there and post it up rather than randomly talking about weird number plates that are not where they should be.

sorry, i think i did not express myself correctly, the plates are NEXT to the radiator, and i have no plate starting with DB-XXX wich should be the clour code plate. here is a pic of the plates that are next to the radiator. tnx.

Send to chassis number, starting with 108.012 or some other three digit trailing number, and get it to your local dealer, or the Classis Center either in Germany or the US, and get the data card. It will have the paint code on it as well as other very interesting numbers.
