I have a 1979 280 SL Euro. VIN 107 0421 12 006876

I cannot open the trunk. The key will turn, it feels correct as usual but the lock will not open when the button is pushed.

Any suggestions or help?

PS No need to say Euro 280SL for a 107 in the US. They were not sold here.
