Hello all;,
i'm triyng to restore 280SE 1973 roadster.
i have a lot of work on the body (rust) and i have a problem with the rear axel.
it is very noisy.today i buy a new bearing ans seal .

do you know the good procedure to remove the rear axel ? and to remove the old bearing ?

thank you for your help (excuse me for my englich very bad :()

Je pense qu'il y a un outil special requil pour enlever les billes.

Je m'exuse... mon francais est merde.

don't worry, your french is better than my english.

i'am looking for drawing of pictures of rear axel componant.

Hi,

what kind of noise? mine when not hitting the throtle (so the engine is retaining) does some sort of intermittent squeal... If I accelerate even slightly it goes away.

Could it be I have bearings problems as well?
