100 DEGREE

796 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  WANTAMB
Half year ago, the temperature reached 90 degree , sometimes 100 degree, so I replaced the thermostat. After that, the temp reading is always at 90 degree.
Today, it reached 100 degree.
Will a flush low the reading, how many liters of coolant required? Or is it caused by other failures?

Thanks in advance for help.

My always run there because I stuck a 95 degree thermostat in. You probably have a 85 in yours and that is the temp when the thermostat starts to open. Hot day and a/c on will push the temps higher. Don't worry as long as it doesn't go into the red.
