Hi, I have a 2014 GLK250 and would like to upgrade the seriously outdated radio display to an android. I'd like to hear from anyone who has done this successfully. I have searched and searched and can't find any US companies offering this aftermarket setup. I see plenty of Chinese units on Ali express and elsewhere though. However, I'm extremely concerned about the quality of these units. The cost of the units far exceed my threshold for something that may not work right. So please, if you have installed one of these units successfully, I want to hear from you. Where did you get it? How long have you been using and are you happy with it?

Did you read the "Seicane Android AUDIO20 Replacement" thread? It's very detailed.
I'm going through the same crisis right now. Too expensive to know there'll be basically no support, and possibly, no security updates.
Maybe I'll feel less risk averse if I get a bonus at work or something, but in the meantime, I'm sticking to my HomeSpot bluetooth adapter connected to my glovebox AUX port.

I did read that thread. The cost is what I'm really struggling with. Like you, I don't want to buy it then find out it won't work or doesn't work that well. If I'm going to pay that amount of money, I really expect it to be seamless. I've decided to just upgrade with a back-up camera and use my phone screen for everything else.

Well, it certainly wasn't/isn't seamless. I wouldn't recommend getting one if you expect perfection, as they certainly are not. The after market, android head units are still in "Wild West" territory.
