Thought our rims looked dull. At dealer today and noticed another 07 E350 Sport that had the same rims, but finished differently. 
Flat outward facing surfaces looked machined and all other surfaces looked painted. Ours as I can tell are all painted with rather dull silver paint. Had the clear bra installed so haven't washed it yet, as they advised no washing for 30 days. This weekend is near 30. Can't wait to clean it up again. So sad to see it dirty.
