Hey guys. New to the forum. Looking for any possible improvements to a 02 CL500 I’m buying tomorrow. 100k miles 4500 dollars. Super clean. I feel a steal. Any insight? Super excited but looking to see if I should mess with German excellence or play around.

You are buying the car tomorrow ? Why not drive it for a while, then you can decide if you want to do any "improvements" - Perhaps you might be happy with the standard 302 horses..???

Calgary, absolutely correct. That machine. Wow. Want to take it to get it a good once over and tune up. Is there a typical preference between my MB dealership or a local garage with a lot of German engineering and mechanic experience?

Drive it and experience the joy of the best of the best. Watch your suspension for lowering, although the car will let you know with a red warning on the cluster. And don't rush into playing with it until you get some miles under her. Enjoy !
