Hi, my name is Scott and my girlfriend has an 02 c240 and it is not shifting and the check engine lite is on, i read in the manual that the car is probablly in a limp home mode, and there is a fault in the tranny. but i dont have the money to take it somewhere and have it scanned. we are expecting our first child any day now and money is tight. and a baby seat dosnt fit very well in my mustang so we are gonna need the car, so if anyone could give me some ideas on what it could be or some ways to daignose it i would really appriciate it. thanks alot.
