History
Just purchased two days ago. History is largely unknown.
Known Faults: Convertible top doesn't work. Speedometer is way off and about to go out. Odometer is out. Missing wire in taillight and harness. May be leaking a small amount of fluid. Clunk when I let off the gas in rear of car. Air leak in the air system (pump works though). One of the plastic intake pieces is broken. The abs light comes on when I get going. Radio is locked out. Cruise control is busted.
One thing I noticed, but don't know yet, is the car seems a bit drifty with a strong cross wind on the highway. Since the car is old and I assume the suspension has been neglected, I think I will start with bushings and see how that feels. Another thing I noticed is that the injectors seem loud when I get close to the engine while it's running, hood open? Maybe normal for older engines.
All-in-all I love the car and got a good price 2k. I can't wait to start fixing it up!!
