Recently purchased as a 40th birthday present to myself. The 380 SL is the Euro model. Brought to the US in 1987, sold at a MB dealer in Richmond VA as a Certified Pre Owned MB. The car was then shipped to California where it remained till its owner passed. The car was left to the deceased owner's best friend. It was shipped to CT where it was garage kept for over 15 years. That person moved to FL in 2015 and needed a bigger car to accommodate her life. I bought it from her. I've done extensive mechanical work to it, including new front/rear suspension, engine seals, hoses, vacuum lines, tires, new tires. The car is a work in progress. However, I have every maint. record, repair record on the car- I even have the buyer's order from when it was purchased in the US.
