History
Bought and driven in Miami for its first few years. Most likely used by a bad guy on Miami Vice.
It was probably flooded in a hurricane before being brought to Ohio, where some poor soul named Scott bought it and realized he got in over his head. Sold to me in rough condition. I made it rougher. Restoring it as a hobby.

Modifications

Drivetrain
Got her running right. Plan on EFI.
Interior
Went on a picnic, left food in car. Bear got in, ate food. Ripped back seats, tore trim off. Damaged clear coat on wood. Cracked the dash. The animal control officer said we couldn't make him move because he was a Peruvian Cheetah Bear in migration, so we had to counsel him out. Torn headliner. Bearshit.
Exterior
Patina and UV enhancements made. My mother broke off the pass side mirror when she drove it. Speed holes.
Audio
Ripped out by previous central american owners. Replaced with a Dynomax twin exhaust setup. Much better sound quality than original Nakamichi speakers. Frightens children.
Suspension
Original Mercedes "stuff a pillow in there and call it a shock absorber." Rides like a hammock through corners.
Rear shocks blown, if you hit a bump and press the gas, the rear tires kick and squeal for a half mile while you fight to keep it in the lane. Makes rain driving fun.
Wheel and Tire
Paid $900 to have wheels re-rounded and restored. My best friend, in the wheel industry, insisted the wheels alone were worth what I paid for the car. Turns out the 15" alloys fetch a couple hundred bucks per set of 4.

Tires are extremely thin so I can rip burnouts at every light, even with only 103hp.
