History
Came from one owner with 74,000 miles. Took the car down to bare metal and repainted, then had entire interior redone. After that took back to the shop and had all gaskets and rubber replaced with OEM. Had over $16,000 in labor ( excluding parts ) to repair or replace items affected by age. My experience had always been with British cars in the past. What I have learned is that no matter what the make, age will take it's toll and most people don't realize it or don't want to spend the money. I am fortunate to have a garage that has employees with experience on 560SL's to when they were delivered. I now have an great appreciation for German engineering. Their manuals are hard to follow which is why I found this forum in the first place.
