This car started out in Florida where it was regularly serviced and cared for. In 2004, 10 years after it was first purchased it was sold to a private party who owned it for 4 years. After a minor front end collision it was "Totaled" and put in an auction lot until 2009 when it was purchased online by a mechanic in Placentia, CA. They attempted to repair the damaged parts from the crash but could not do it so they attempted to part the car out online. A local friend who works on Mercedes saw it's engine up for sale with only 60,000 miles on it, he went to go buy the engine but ended up taking the entire car when he saw it's condition. From there it was restored back to it's factory condition and was driven by him for 2 years and 10,000 miles. He found another car and offered to sell it. When I saw it up close and drove it I bought it as quickly as I could. It has it's little quirks as any 20 year old car would but everything about it is in great condition. At the time of writing this I've put about 20,000 miles on this car and its just nearing 90,000 on the odometer. It's been extremely reliable and im looking forward to many more miles.
