History
PNW car that I picked up for tinkering, the car and I are the same age.
Car had sat for awhile, ran but suffered from neglect. Brakes were seized, drove it home from purchase with brakes smokin. I have since replaced all the calipers and brake lines. the hard lines I created myself. found the wrong caliper on the back passenger side (U.S Model) Stops on a dime now. Purchased with pitted bundt rims that I got rid of in favor of steelies with mercedes moon caps. Replaced the rear axle seals and bearings as drivers side was leaking terrible. Carbs were missing parts so I sourced the parts and got her to idle. At this point the car became drivable. The W108 still needs a lot of work due to its neglect currently working on tuning up the power windows (at this time I cant find a switch). Installing some foglights. Just sourced a Becker am/fm radio to replace the Blaupunkt tape deck that did not work and looked like a turd.
