History
My history starts with my Grandfather, started way back in 1915 (?) first carsales in south of Holland (EMA). Very soon also MB. Bankruptcy in 2014, almost 90 years. My father due to his illness stepped out of the family-business, but I always kept a soft-spot for MB.
Car Itself: not much known. I bought her from a Guy in Holland, who imported the car but did not get round to taking up the TLC ... When I dismantled interior I found a plaquet "for sale" with a Phone-nr. in LA, which I then called (Spanish speaking). From what I could understand, they sold the car for their aunt (that would be the mrs. on the original US title). Furthermore, there are stickers from Foreign Auto Tech under the hood, so she must have been in there at least once. Calling them did not get a result (couldn't trace back the VIN).

Modifications

Drivetrain
IN 2017 summer, started cleaning up the engine, some leak on the cooling, and needs a distri-chain replacement ... July 17 : parts just came in. UPDATE: Early 2018 Distri-chain replacement done, and working just fine. Now problem with Alternator ...
Interior
Still quite ok. Added the jumpseats in the back, looks way better. Needs some cleaning up, fixing, here and there.
Exterior
Still a lot of work: Paint is dull, bodywork not 100 % after damage rear-right.
