History
Started life as a 2.3, and in 2016 got a C36 drivetrain transplant from a donor car that was wrecked enough to be totaled but where nothing important (for the swap) was damaged.

Everything involved in powering and stopping the C36 is transplanted to this car, the car was modified in a couple areas to accept the part. Thankfully since the 190's wheelbase and track width are only about 1/2" shorter each way I was able to utilize everything from the c36 that delivered power to the wheels. The only parts I had to modify from the engine going to back of the car were the driveline support bearing location was moved rearward, and the differential mounting points on the rear subframe.

Bottom line is that I dont have to worry about breaking any wimpy 190E parts in the drivetrain.
One of these days I will post some pics.

Modifications

Drivetrain
Entire powertrain from c36 donor car, including (everything, basically):
-C36 ECUs: HFM, ASR, E-Gas, plus diagnostic/emission module, and all associated components/wiring of each.
-C36 intake, and exhaust system
-C36 Engine, transmission, driveshaft & support, differential, halfshafts, hubs.
-R129 late model front spindles/hubs
-C36 brake booster, master cyl.
-R129 "Silver Arrow" brakes front and rear.

ALL SYSTEMS ARE COMPLETE AND FUNCTIONING (and quite well, actually)

Many modifications had to be made to the car to make this happen. Several 2.6 model parts had to be procured and fitted (radiator and motor mounts, for example)
Interior
C36 seats on 190e frames (the rear split fold down seats were hand stitched together and mounted to 190 seat frame I am especially proud of this because most people think it is a factory fit)

pics to come...
Exterior
Genuine AMG USA Gen 1 front, rear, and side aprons. I'll put a pic of exterior once weather is nice and I can get a decent pic.
Suspension
c36 springs
Bilstein B8 struts
Wheel and Tire
18" staggered monoblocks
