C36 I like better that the C43...it has more characteristics in my opinion, and definitely more balanced engine! Rare car to find nowadays...keep it, but check the front timing cover for oil leaks, and the rear of the motor coz the pressure port is what leaks on those 104 engines. Nice car...

HalCLK500 is correct! Located on the right side of the engine bay and above the battery with three clips. Just make sure you re-install it properly or else it will dangle and be loose!

Get your transmission rebuilt. 722.3 transmissions are easy to rebuild...that's if it's just clutch fibers/packs. But if some hard parts are burnt and defective, it could be costly. No way to know, until the transmission is opened up.

If it's blue smoke, it's valve guides and valve seals. Injection pump also fails, but usually it's white smoke. If it's black smoke, then the car is running too rich. Make sure Injection timing if correct as well.

You may have to replace your clutch system, and either replace the flywheel or get it resurfaced.

If the battery test ok, then check the starter, and after check the charging system. Do you hear a solenoid click under the hood (engine bay)? If so, you'll need a starter on your car. Also, don't forget to try another key (spare key). Keys go bad, and also the EIS (Electronic Ignition Switch).

Depending on the previous work that was done on your car, it MAY be the minor service!

Usually, it's the Intake Manifold linkages on the runners that breaks! I can rebuild those guys depending where and what broke. If it's inside the runners, then you're SOL...have to buy the whole intake manifold assembly!
