My advice - buy Bosch OE equivalents - simplest "old" cross-reference is #7422 - for 12pc set $60 on Amazon:

Buy $16 "boot removal tool" used to "pop off" the spark plug connectors

Then search for a 5/8" ball socket swivel socket - and needs thinner wall.

A "pea" size dollop of dielectric grease for the top of the spark plug electrode for when you snap the boots back on.

Hard to judge metallic silver from digital photos - to the good body panel and front/rear bumper alignment seem OK.

Belt tensioner is "new" style - which is correct for 2002 - idler pulley seems to be a Gates replacement - also all to the good.

His posting of the CarFax "might" be incomplete - service history starts in 2006 - frankly not uncommon not to have earlier history - but could be 1/2 missing pages not to be concerned with.

1) Cluster has bulb out in left side display - small thing - easy.

2) Consider a dealer rear alignment - appears from photo passenger rear tire is wearing a bit excessively on inside tred - which commonly is caused at some point in it's life by a tow hooking at rear suspension that side to pull up on a flat bed - I have seen "most" indies not get rear alignment right - reason I recommend a dealer or proven indie rear alignment.

3) Seller set climate contol to OFF - I would scroll thru temp/digits on both sides to check for any missing LCD segments - since OFF sometimes is used to mask missing LCD digit segments - missing/lost segments is not that uncommon.

4) I would "assume" you will have a SRS light - since that is more common - and no SRS light is less common - SRS personally does not concern me - might concern you.

I understand valve cover gaskets - actually some seepage over time is to be expected - mount replacement often by a idie dealer will be China mounts - on motor mounts can be OK for awhile - tranny mount OK for a long while - but China mounts mounts do not have the "expected life" of OE/Lemfoerder-Sachs.

If it was me and I just got it in...and my intent is long term hold past 125K

1) IMMEDIATE - tranny service w/correct fluid - correct procedure best done using "pump-full-replacement" procedure shown in the stickies - or "standard" procedure pan drop which replaces 60% approx. DIY "full" repacement or experienced indie "standard" procedure to assure correct new/correct fluid

2) IMMEDIATE - replacement tranny adapter plug - can be done at same times as tranny service - note dealer/indie protocols do not call for plug replacement unless you specify this - and indie needs to have correct MB/MOPAR plug from your hand to insure aftermarket connector is NOT used - genuine MB/MOPAR part only - like $10 on Amazon - NOT China/quasi-brand part - if internal leakage old plug - DIY pull/clean TCM with MAF cleaner

3) IMMEDIATE - coolant change with correct MB or Valvoline/Zerex G05 - if water mix use distilled water only. Last coolant change was 2006 - correct coolant w/distilled is pH neutral - old coolant (which could be right or wrong coolant) loses pH neutral - and//or if used tap water - loses pH neutral leads to premature t-stat/water-pump/radiator failure

4) IMMEDIATE - with manual reset instructions in hand - with radio code - key out of ignition - pull/clean battery terminals including ground connection - re-install - follow reset procedures incl radio - steering angle sensor - each/all-4 window - sunroof to prevent premature failure of window regulators and/or sunroof motor due to loss/over-time of original settings. If you don't have owner's manual - download pdf manual from mbusa.com under Owner's Section

5) Immediate/Minor - small $3.20 thing from Amazon - fresh/correct Maxell batteries/hologram-pack batteries for both fob's - 2 each and you won't have to worry for another 10yrs - link for correct/best batteries + fob install below

Please understand you need "thin wall" - and frankly from what I see I "think" your suggestion won't cut it.

It is not something you can tell from outside/diameter photo - it has to do with the "thin wall" inside the socket.

I would not even try to do a W210 V8 without the "proven" swivel thin wall socket and boot tool - and frankly haven't done the V6 in awhile and over a additional to get the "proven" set I wouldn't risk the frustration.

If you replaced your fuel filter - good thing is to replace those Mercedes trickster clip-clamps with standard small hose clamps - you did that, or was that already changed out before when you were down their ?

If you are a Amazon Prime guy - go there - again, Mann or Bosch only (no - Mehle Original does NOT mean the Mehle is the OR Original, branding trick only) - I happen to prefer Bosch on the fuel filter.

I cannot confirm this will solve your problem - but let's get this out of the way 1st with correct fuel filter, fresh clamps (yes, those clamps can be Autozone) and see if this solves your problem

Often, incorrect/failed filter can be the cause, accentuated if someone "tops off" when filling the tank - no "top off" when filling W210 since top off can cause fuel to run into the canister.

Get that correct filter in before we have to dig into the cannister/shutoff valve thing - take heart - sh*tty fuel filter commonly a major cause of what you are experiencing.

If a Amazon Prime guy - the correct Mann air filter (better fit and better filter than retail auto parts store brand) is like $14 delivered Prime (I change air filter at each oil change) - the correct OE equivalent Hengst fleece oil filter $10 Prime - MB coolant $25 a gallon concentrate (use distilled water for mix only) - and Prime those are dleivered prices/no tax yet..

Commonly used tranny fluid Shell 134 - either from local Shell distributor - or from Amazon - do NOT use incorrect fluid/autoparts stuff junk.

if you plan DIY tranny (personally not my thing as I have a good indie) then you will also need a correct dipstick (Aamzon) and some also use a IR thermometer and others just let car get to operating temp for correct measurement of tranny fluid level at correct operating temp.
