   MB dealer tested my 8-year-old 100A battery and said its didn't need replacing now...

      Good one MM
      Load testers run $25 at HB.
      The battery in our ML320 lasted 12 years and 4 months since we picked up the car.

      After I removed the auxillary battery, I tested it and it had over 12 Volts (can't remember exact amount, but way in the green on the battery tester). I also tested the main battery by connecting the battery tester on the jump point under the hood and the main battery tested fine with vehicle off and vehicle running.
