      How about a propane torch? Used with good ventilation and a particle mask.. Maybe outside even!
      
      Harbor Freight has some 18 & 25" long.. Short money too!

      I'll have to do the drill bit route apparently. Can't get the packing close enough to the outlet to burn it at all.
