Wow, I just saw this. I hope that you have resolved this but if not, I remember calling Autuhauz AZ and describing what I needed and yes, I did change the filter. It is large, maybe 2" dia x 4 or 5". If you need more help, I will search for old papers or we can call Autohauz and see what they sold me! Sorry, I'm so late. Ron

Looks like I am having the same fuel leak problem with my 93 300SL that you had back in '08. You said you bought a hose from autohauz for around $17. I do not see that part on their website. Any guidance here (part #, etc)? Thanks! Oh, and did you change the filter out too? if so, which one did you use? I just acquired this vehicle last year and have not been able to find any type of Haynes manual which helps with these types of things. Thanks! Rich
