I thought you were going to say USPS flat rate boxes :)

You and those flat rate USPS boxes :)

I loved your video Ken, I found it on YouTube before I found this thread. You crack me up with how rough you are taking stuff apart and throwing in the boxes :). I also dig your use of the free USPS flat rate boxes for paint and parts. I have never done any interior work and I am actually...

According to the service records these were replaced in 1992 and have 42000+ miles on them. I replaced them last night and I probably didn't need to.

The plug wires are so close to NOS. I am super happy with the quality especially the sheathing. They all installed in less than 30 min including new plugs. The slight miss is completely fixed and it just purrs. Very thrilled with the work i have done to this car. Euro bumpers and Euro...

Injectors replaced, as is all the distribution rubber tubing. Looked like it was going to be a bit of a chore but it was easy. Drove to the gas station put in a bottle of techron and drove about 10 miles with a big smile on my face.

I got you beat, I loaded up kerosene in mine, it started out that it was working great until the pump melted :) I never noticed the disclaimer "For use with non-corrosive water based solvents." At least mine was the tiny one that harbor used to sell so a little less painful. Still felt stupid

Left side super easy once I committed to destroy the old rubber. Can anyone share what the mysterious red X on the valve cover near the last injector may mean? I had a little old wheel woolly cleaner that cleaned the bung super easy with a bit of PB then I used a shop vac to suck up any debris.

I bought the genuine MB more than double the price of URO :( Another couple hundred dollars in rubber but this should be the last time I have to do this. One thing I do what to ask is when you do buy new Bosch injectors is there some way to know out of the box they are matched or good in a...

Yeah, the truth is until you do the job you don't know all of what is involved. I placed an order for all the top big rubber stuff so essentially I can be rough :) I found a hose puller plier that also looks like something that will be very helpful in the future slips in between and one grips...

I guess part of the fun of having a classic is working on it. I am in the process of replacing injectors and wonder if there is some special tool or technique to remove the air distribution hoses off the injectors with out having them crack? I guess its a moot point since I went back to the...
  14. 560sl tank strainer

    R/C107 SL/SLC Class
I got rough with it and it worked. Took the old hose cut off the hose so a deep socked could fit on it. JB welded the nut to the strainer, backed it on out and chucked it hard into the trashcan and called it bitch. Felt pretty good.
