how to remove grill on glk 350 x204

Hey guys,

I wanted to know how do i remove the star on the glk or the grill?
I purchased a illuminated star and i can't get the grill off.

I looked at the old post regarding taking off the grill but all the pictures are gone. If someone has those pictures still it would of great help.

I was able to loosen the bolts, but I cant pull off the plastic part on top of the grill.

Ok, so I am still having trouble pulling off those 3 tabs that secure the grill to the body. Is the grill pushed in or pulled up and out?

Any help will be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Hey, I also bought the illuminated star kit. I was going to install it tonight, but I have been unable to find any decent instructions! Would you happen to have any?

You don't have to remove the grill to put the star on. Your old star simply turns off I believe clockwise and then just pull out at least My 2015 did. Then run the wiring over to your fuse box
