Will the vito panel van be a Vclass

I am about to order a 122 Vito Shuttle(traveliner), but if the 2013 Viano is the same body (just lots of bells and whistles) as the current Vito shuttle/dualliner/traveliner/crewcab etc, should I expect the Vito body also to be upgraded to the new V class shape soon-ish ??

the 639 and new different vehicles..... nothing is common to both models

the shuttle has been replaced by the tourer... a sort of shuttle/ traveliner cross.... it in 2 forms pro and select... in all 3 body lengths (plus a longer bonnet)....

neither version is like the shuttle... both have bench seats (either 2x 3seat or 1x 2seat + 1 x 3seat) and single or double front passenger..

ALL the seats are bench, NOT individually removable or foldable... the row 2 bench can be a solid 2 seat or solid 3 seat or solid 2seat with detachable 3rd seat

the row2 2+1 seat is reversible in the SELECT version

all seating is normally cloth

if you want leather or you want individual seats... it MUST be the vclass

vclass also has opening side windows and opening tailgate window if required..... tourers don't

I have the tourer 114 bluetec select, long..... its great... I got a massive discount and couldn't have afforded showroom prices......

If I had the cash... I'd buy a vclass replacement NOW (I've done 3000miles total).... but I don't like automatics... and vclass is ONLY automatic.... but I'd still swap for a vclass tomorrow.

malcolm

42 to 47mpg (what I'm currently getting in town and on motorway) is nice

note only bluetec engines are merc... standard 447s are renault (see my posting)

the service contract and "everything" contracts are well worth the money
