Tires

Live in Wisconsin. Don't want messing with snows to summers. Down to two A/S 19" brands/models.

Which is better for all of 'em---snow, rain, dry, noise, ride, tread life?

Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 or Michelin A/S 3 Plus?

Buying soon.

Thanks.

In my experience growing up in Southern Germany, dedicated winter tires were always used and preferred over "all seasons". However, your mileage may vary.

Between your two choices, I'd go with the Michelins. They rode and stopped way better than the Continentals I had on my '09 E350

'51 Euro 170S

'98 Dodge Durango SLT+ 5.9L Magnum V8
'96 Ford F350 7.3 PSD

I get doing summer/winter. But, you feel Michelins are the better of two evils, so to say. Thanks for sharing an opinion.

I do indeed. The switch to Michelins was a night and day difference from the Continentals. They're not bad tires, the ride was just noticeably harsher.

I like the Michelin A/S+ better because of its steering response and corning stability. If traction in snow and icy condition is more important to you, go with the DWS 06.

Sorry to be late to the party. Did anyone suggest the Toyo Proxes Plus 4? I am considering those as a replacement for the Bridgestone Runflats.
